— Our philosophy
Rooted in tradition, guided by care.
At Harmony Acupuncture & Wellness Spa, we believe lasting health comes from treating the whole person — not just the symptom. Our licensed practitioners blend thousands of years of Traditional Chinese Medicine with current, evidence-informed wellness techniques, an approach the NCCIH overview of TCM describes in plain terms: promising for some conditions, still being studied for others. We keep our claims just as honest.
A consultation before every treatment plan
Every session begins with a thorough consultation, so your treatment plan is as unique as you are. Whether you're looking for relief from chronic pain, stress, or sleep trouble, preparing for a fertility journey, or simply after a deeper sense of balance, we're here to guide it — needle by needle, visit by visit. Some people come weekly. Others once a season. Both are welcome.
Quiet rooms, minutes from Tysons
The setting matters too. Our studio sits on Route 123 in McLean, a short drive from Tysons Galleria and the GW Parkway, but it doesn't feel like it — private treatment rooms, warm towels, a goldfish bowl at reception. You can see the full range of acupuncture and TCM services we practice here, from cupping to meridian massage.
— The name
The meaning behind our name.
The red seal in our logo carries our Chinese name. Read plainly: yi is to nourish and take care of, he is harmony or balance, and tang is a hall — a nourishing-balance hall. That's the whole story, and it doubles as the treatment philosophy: restore balance first, and let the body do what it already knows how to do. The English name says the same thing in three words — Harmony, Acupuncture, Wellness.
— Why us
What makes Harmony Acupuncture different.
Chain Bridge Rd has no shortage of acupuncture clinics — several sit within a block of us. Here's what we'd point to, factually, if you're comparing:
- Licensed & certified practitioners. 15+ years of practice, single-use sterile needles, clean-needle technique on every visit.
- Personalized treatment plans. A real consultation first — pulse, tongue, history — then a plan, never a one-size protocol.
- Serene, private treatment rooms. One client per room. No curtained bays, no shared spaces.
- Insurance-friendly billing. UnitedHealthcare and Aetna accepted; we verify your benefits by text before you commit.
- 100% natural, drug-free therapies. Needles, hands, warmth, and time — no injections, no synthetic products.
- Evening & weekend hours. Open every day 9 AM to 9 PM — lunch-break, after-work, and Sunday visits all fit. See transparent pricing before you book.
